Nabat TerraPod Challenge

Nabat is an Abu Dhabi-based nature technology company launched by VentureOne, the commercialization arm of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC). Nabat is building the operating system for nature, using AI and robotics, including autonomous aerial systems, to restore ecosystems at scale and verify the outcomes.

Its platform, NabatOS, runs a single pipeline from mapping and site suitability assessment through autonomous aerial seeding to continuous satellite and drone-based monitoring, so every restoration program can demonstrate that restoration worked. Nabat's work began with the UAE's national mangrove restoration program and now extends across coastal, marine, and dryland ecosystems.

Through the Nabat TerraPod Challenge, Nabat is looking for seed-carrier technology that supports dryland restoration and its effort to tackle desertification.
